I love APRIL! April 22 is the 112th day of the Y2018, and my 68th birthday. Best wishes me for a happy birthday with my ever-caring wife, my lovely-angel-flower Mary Ann! Truly and joyful, I am the Aging OFW! To God be the glory!
I love April! The month I was taught by my parents to scrub, husks, sweep and wipe wax on the floor together with my eldest brother, kuya Celest and my younger sisters Margie and Edna. And to wash the dishes, pots & pans promptly; and assists preparing family meals.
I love April! The month(s) I have accumulated countless of mischievousness: climbing the roof top hideously while plucking/eating guava fruits from a neighbor’s guava tree branch reclining over the roof; playing “piko,” “patintero,” “tumbang-preso,” “luksong-lubid,” “luksong-tinik,” “taguan,” “bahay-bahayan,” “pitik-ilong,” “teks,” etc. while hiding the slippers of playmates; urinating on the slippers of playmates whenever irritated; sitting in the toilet for hours reading cartoon comics while others lined up; sticking bubble gums underneath the dining chairs and many more.
I love April! The month(s) I have gained exciting work experiences and true friends here & abroad; as well as memorable events in my family and love-life.
And I love April because even I have rare breakdown in my daily activities, the God Almighty, the Son our Lord & Saviour, with the Holy Spirit have helped me to light my world for easy, simple and God-honoring life @ geannhomegarden.
Wow! The month of April since my birth until now has gifted me no power failure to believe in God, the Father Almighty, amen. (Ephesians 1:18-19)
